Founder and CEO
Andrew Keenan, was born and raised in the mountains of Colorado, and can tell you stories of how as a child he built a working sailboat and a hand crank elevator for his tree house. After attending the University of Colorado and receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering, he moved to Seattle for 10 years to work as an engineer.
Worthy of note, as a structural engineer, Keenan worked on multi-million dollar projects, including a swing bridge over the Suez canal (at the time, it was the world’s largest and heaviest moveable structure). He was senior project manager on several multi-million dollar civil construction projects. Including a 20 million dollar federally subsidized project- requiring monthly rigorous audits, which passed 100% of the time.
In 2000, Andrew moved to Maui and opened a construction company. As a contractor, he quickly expanded to over 50 employees building several multi-million dollar custom homes simultaneously. He has a reputation for being on-time, on-budget with satisfied customers on every project.
In mid-2009, Keenan leveraged his successful experience and created a building material supply store in Kahului. In 2014, seeing that Maui had a need for a expert window and door supplier who could also offer licensed installation. He opened Maui Windows and Doors with the goal of 100% customer satisfaction.
As far as we know, Andrew Keenan is the only licensed general contractor that also holds a specialty glazing license in the state of Hawaii. Having these licenses makes us the only contractor that can legally not only change your windows but also do the associated work such as masonry, framing, trim, waterproofing, drywall, etc.
In 2017, Andrew Keenan and Maui Windows and Doors won the Mayors Exceptional Business and Business Man of the Year.
Trisha Egge first collaborated professionally with Andrew Keenan in 2007 when she was in quality control with general contractor Ledcor Group and working on the 5 Star, $800 million Honua Kai Resort project in Kaanapali, Maui. Like Andrew, Trisha had been engaged in construction and renovation work for many years.
Recognizing the collaborative possibilities of combining their experience and skills, Trisha joined Andrew’s team in 2009. She worked with new vendors, oversaw the order and delivery process, and elevated customer service to sets us apart from our competitors.
As Vice President, Trisha says she is extremely pleased and excited about the product range at Maui Windows and Doors and the installation teams commitment to quality. “We aim to provide for our customers’ needs more professionally and proactively than anyone else.”
Trisha is currently heading the commercial projects department of Maui Windows and Doors. She is managing several multimillion dollar commercial window and doors sales and installations.
In addition, she is a volunteer executive board member with the Construction Industry of Maui (Non-profit), is a County of Maui Volunteer Board Member on the Planning Departments Board of Variances and Appeals, attends the monthly architect association training meetings and is a PTO member with her children’s school Montessori School of Makawao.
